Our Origin

D'Felicidade is a local accommodation that combines exceptional comfort with a privileged location, inviting its guests to look westward towards nature, comfort, and relaxation at any time of the year.

The project is the result of the rehabilitation of one of the oldest and most central houses in Chão da Parada. Consisting of two dwellings, the front house was the main home of the owner's grandparents, while the back house was built from the ruins of barns and stables. Zé Moleiro and Licínia Naifa name the houses as a tribute to family, history, and memory.

The name D'Felicidade also has a familial connection. Maria da Felicidade, the owner’s grandmother, once heard a porter who was transporting her in the hospital say, "Finally, I have found Happiness (Felicidade)!"

D'Felicidade is, above all, the experience that this place full of possibilities aims to offer its guests, in a historic municipality, surrounded by nature, beaches, and various tourist attractions.
